A little bit about me...

I've been working in Financial Services since 2000. Initially, I joined a firm of Independent Financial Advisers as a Paraplanner and learnt lots about the complexities of Financial Planning.

A key point I picked up on, in my initial months in the industry, is that most people at some point in their lives require the advice and support of a Financial Adviser to steer them in the right direction, protect their loved ones and help them realise their lifetime goals.

Since then, I've valued the importance of Financial Planning to the client and the range of roles I've worked in within Financial Services have focused on ensuring the client has the best possible outcome to meet their objectives.

In 2003 I joined Nationwide Building Society and worked in a number of positions there, all related to Financial Planning.

At the start of 2018 I joined Grosvenor Consultancy Limited, initially providing support to two other Advisers in the form of research, preparing recommendations and report writing, before moving into the role of Financial Adviser myself.

I believe in offering my clients a personal, quality service. Through regular meetings and telephone discussions I will get to know my clients, understand what their goals are and help them to achieve what they want from their money.

Qualifications

I sat my first exams in Financial Services between 2000 and 2005 (Financial Planning Certificate and Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice).

Since then, I've gone on to achieve the following qualifications;

  • Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) - 2014

  • Pension Transfers Advanced Qualification - 2019

  • Certificate in Long Term Care and Later Life Planning - 2020

  • Advanced Diploma in Financial Advice (AdvDipFA) - 2022

Financial Coaching

I've recently completed training in Financial Coaching and I'm really excited about the added value this service could offer to my clients. Financial coaching can help bridge the gap between knowing what to do and doing it.

I decided to train as a Financial Coach to help clients identify and overcome the obstacles preventing them from following a financial plan and to give more depth and meaning to financial advice.

As a Financial Adviser, getting to really know my clients is paramount to the service I deliver. Whilst Financial Coaching may not appeal to everyone, for those who do wish to transform their relationship with money, feel better about their own financial situation and be able to act on and implement financial advice, the results can be life changing.

Money has a huge impact on our lives and can be a major contributor to stress. I believe that financial wellbeing greatly improves the quality of our lives.

In my spare time you'll find me enjoying country walks with my family.
